The property is equipped with a specific quantity of bath and pool towels to accommodate the max occupancy of the home. The bathrooms are stocked with shampoo and conditioner. There are also fully equipped laundry rooms with a washer, dryer, and iron. THE FOLLOWING IS NOT INCLUDED: cooking oil, sprays, foil, plastic wrap or other cooking ingredients. Guests have access to Puerta Azul's amenities including the Olympic size swimming pools, tennis courts, and clubhouse (pool table, ping pong, gym, and more). There are two large swimming pools (shared) with jacuzzies in the community. Both are within walking distance (a few minutes) from the property. There is a small, 1-car garage that guests are welcome to use (larger vehicles may not fit) as well as unassigned spaces along the street. We are minutes from PGA West with five public courses to choose from, as well as SilverRock Resort, an Arnold Palmer Classic Course, another terrific local option. In January, you can walk to the Stadium course to watch the pros play in The American Express Golf Tournament. Tennis fans - in March, you'll be minutes away from the 5th largest tennis tournament in the world, the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells, which draws the top-rated men and women tennis players in the world. Tennis and pickleball players - the Fritz Burns park is 10 minutes away with 6 tennis courts and 8 pickleball courts lit and open from Dawn until 10 pm. Coachella and Stagecoach Music Festivals are the main attractions in April, both taking place at the famous Empire Polo Grounds. Close by is the famous El Paseo and Old Town La Quinta areas with excellent dining and shopping options. Ralphs is the closest supermarket, about 10 minutes away, and Trader Joe's is also nearby. * FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS - WHAT TIME IS CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT? Check-in time is 4 p.m. and check-out is at 11 a.m. Early check-in and late check-out may be available for your reservation. WILL I NEED TO MEET THE PROPERTY MANAGER TO GET A KEY? Our homes are keyless entry, and we issue a code rather than a physical key. The code changes for every reservation, so it is an incredibly safe alternative. By issuing the code prior to arrival, the check-in process is much easier. WHAT ARE THE POOL HOURS? ARE THEY HEATED? Puerta Azul community: The two community pools are heated year-round and are open from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. Homes with a private pool or jacuzzi can be heated for an additional fee. Check individual listing for info. DO YOU ALLOW PETS? Certain non-shedding hypoallergenic dogs will be considered at an additional fee. Service animals are permitted, and the fee is waived for such situations (however, the animal is never permitted to be in the unit alone if it is a service animal). Please note we do not allow any pets other than dogs. SMOKING POLICY? Smoking is allowed in outdoor areas only. No smoking is permitted inside the home or near doors, windows, or any interior spaces. Please dispose of cigarette butts responsibly. Any smoking violations may result in additional fines, extra cleaning charges, and potential loss of security deposit. Puerta Azul Community Rules: 1. The City of La Quinta / Puerta Azul has a quiet hour ordinance from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. 2. No more than 2 vehicles per home unit may be parked on the street at any time during the hours of 12 a.m. to 7 a.m. 3. No trailer, camper, mobile home, commercial vehicle, truck (other than a standard-size pick-up truck), boat, or inoperable vehicle will be allowed in the community. House Notes: During the hot summer nights, it’s possible to encounter some gentle insects such as crickets, etc. Rest assured, our property undergoes regular pest control treatments, though a few may still make an appearance. To ensure the upkeep of our surroundings, our diligent pool maintenance and landscaping team may visit the property during the week for service. Your comfort is important, and we strive to create a seamless and enjoyable experience for your stay. • Rates are based on occupancy, and extra guests may increase the nightly rate. • Guests are responsible for any HOA or city citations during their stay. • Check-in is anytime after 4:00 PM • NO AMPLIFIED MUSIC OUTSIDE (La Quinta City Ordinance #9 • No parties or events • No pets • No smoking • City Noise Ordinances 10PM • Early or Late check in/out available at extra cost • Respect City Noise Ordinances at 10PM. If for any reason neighbors or security are involved guest is responsible first warning $500 charge, second disturbance is grounds for eviction. We ask that you enjoy yourself, but smoking, pets and parties are not permitted. We ask that people respect the reservation they committed to and only have the same number of people stay in the house as listed in the reservation. If additional people stay in the house outside of the reservation, we reserve the right to cancel the reservation with no refund or charge an additional fee for each person staying. Guest-Renter Responsibilities & Terms & Conditions: GOOD NEIGHBOR POLICIES - CITY NOISE ORDINANCES - IMPORTANT HOUSE RULES: You certify and agree to honor the specified occupancy limits for this home (see listing on website) and conduct yourselves in a manner respectful of neighbors by refraining from loud or unnecessary outdoor noises, disruptive parties, over-occupancy or any activity that interferes with the quiet enjoyment of neighbors, traffic flow, the community, and residents. Renter/ tenants and guests will maintain the home in good order and appearance at all times and will not disturb, annoy, endanger or inconvenience neighbors or prompt written or verbal complaints from police, neighbors, neighborhood associations or homeowner associations (HOA). PRIOR APPROVAL & PERMISSION REQUIRED - PETS, COMMERCIAL PHOTOGRAPHY, EVENTS: If a pet is brought without permission, or to a non-pet-friendly home, a charge of up to $1500.00 may be charged to the credit card or security deposit is forfeited. Commercial photography and Events are NOT permitted without prior expressed written consent of owner or agency. Special insurance is required to be purchased by Lessee for events, photography and film shoots including homeowner as additional insured and additional event and photography fees apply. GUEST CHECKIN AND KEYS Guests are not permitted on the property prior to check-in. Each property has a secure lock-box near the entrance of the home with a key inside. You will receive your lock-box combo 1 day prior to arrival. Important: Please return the keys to lock-box upon departure. For non-return or loss of keys, gate cards, and remotes a $50.00 to $150.00 service fee applies. The sand, heat, and wind of our desert climate create a tough environment for home mechanical systems. This can sometimes result in equipment failure. Every reasonable effort will be made to remedy unforeseen situations, and correct any problems in as timely manner as possible. No refunds or credits due to malfunctions in systems or equipment or other guest dissatisfaction. We reserve the right to inspect and service the home during your visit, including, but not limited to required weekly gardener service & pool service, arranged by homeowner. CHECK-OUT is promptly at 11:00 a.m. on the day of departure unless specific arrangements are made in advance. Late departures will be charged an additional night. Please close and lock all doors, sliders, windows, a fee will be charged for leaving the home unsecured. Please turn off lights, heat or AC. Before departing, please bag trash and place it in containers provided. All dishes & cookware should be cleaned and put away, or placed in dishwasher. Carpets-floors should be in same clean condition as you found them to prevent additional charges. EXTERNAL SECURITY CAMERAS AND NOISE SENSING DEVICES ON THE PROPERTY External security cameras are located on the exterior of the property for security reasons. They are located in the front door, courtyard (if existing), sides and rear of the property. Cameras are activated by movement and motion There are NO CAMERAS on the interior of the property. Sound monitoring devices are located internal and external to the property. No sound is recorded, simply monitoring the noise level for compliance with the HOA and City Regulations.
